Within the scope of the programme O Desenho como Pensamento<\/em> [Drawing as thought], the University of Aveiro now hosts the exhibition O Desenho na Cole\u00e7\u00e3o Norlinda e Jos\u00e9 Lima<\/em> (Uma Sele\u00e7\u00e3o) at H\u00e9l\u00e8ne de Beauvoir Room \u2013 Library of the University of Aveiro Campus, curated by Jo\u00e3o Silv\u00e9rio.<\/p>\n

The exhibition seeks to contextualize, according to different generations and topics, an attention to drawing made in different media and modes of inscription on the support. The show features twenty-two works by sixteen Portuguese and foreign authors that point to the transversal nature of the collection and to its international component spanning a period of approximately half a century. <\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"flx_lyt__text_small","flx_lyt__text_small":"

Jo\u00e3o Silv\u00e9rio<\/strong> holds an MA in Curatorial Studies by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. He is associate curator of the contemporary art collection of PLMJ Foundation, and curator and tutor of the RAMA Art Residencies, Maceira, Portugal. He began is activity as an independent curator in 2003. In October 2007. He created the independent project EMPTY CUBE<\/a>, which has featured work of various artists, designers and architects. He was the president of the Portuguese section of AICA \u2013 International Association of Art Critics from March 2013 to December 2015.
