TRABALHO CAPITAL # GREVE GERAL, One Shot Exhibition, is a curatorial project that concludes the exhibition-installation Trabalho Capital [Capital work], which was originally conceived as a two-part event at Oliva Art Centre in 2019. This iteration of the exhibition includes new works by forty artists, a transformed scenography accompanied by a programme of performances, films and artistic actions that present a sketch of the second exhibition in the project Trabalho Capital, albeit one that focuses more on the social and political narrative of the Oliva factory in the troubled times following the 1974 revolution, and on the history of the workers\u2019 movement in Portugal. TRABALHO CAPITAL # GREVE GERAL once more generates a dialogue between the Norlinda and Jos\u00e9 Lima Collection, the works by the artists invited to this project and the documental and technical material of F\u00e1brica Oliva\u2019s museologic industrial legacy, since its foundation in the 1920s to its definitive closing in 2010. The aim is to convoke Oliva\u2019s historical, social and political memory by confronting it with our time and the current exhibition space.<\/p>\n
